Shotokan Karate

Karate is a martial art. Our karate style is Shotokan Ryu Karate Do. In karate, we train body and mind in harmony through the three fundamental pillars of "Kihon," "Kata," and "Kumite." The code of values "character, effort, courtesy, sincerity, and self-control" is paramount. With our understanding of karate, we don't aim to teach the path to becoming a champion, but rather to becoming a well-balanced individual. We are guided on this path by various masters, such as Shimizu Keigo Sensei, 5th Dan Shotokan Karate (JKA), Ishikawa Tadashi Sensei, 8th Dan Shotokan Karate (JKS), and Naka Tatsuya Sensei, 7th Dan Shotokan Karate (JKA).
